SCOTT'S STORY

Scott Uehlinger was born and raised on Long Island, NY. Upon graduation from high school Scott pursued his dream of a military career with an appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. After graduation he entered the United States Navy as an officer and served at sea, spending four years on active duty.

Upon leaving Navy active duty, Scott returned to sea as a merchant marine still serving our nation by delivering fuel to our troops in the Persian Gulf War zone.

Long fascinated by history and foreign cultures, Scott joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1996 as an Operations Officer, and quickly realized he had an aptitude for languages. Scott became a fluent speaker of four languages including Russian and Spanish. That unique skill enabled Scott to operate in the former Soviet Union, recruiting spies for the United States for over 12 years.

In a career that included intelligence operations against Russian, Iranian, terror, and weapons proliferation targets, Scott was awarded five exceptional performance awards for his service abroad.

ACTA NON VERBA

This is the motto of the US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, my alma mater. From the time I was a teenager I have sought to serve my country. My graduation in 1986 from USMMA was one of my proudest moments - and laid the path I was to follow for the rest of my life.

The motto of Kings Point was forged in the crucible of World War Two, at the birth of my school, the youngest of the federal service academies. Midshipmen served, and died, aboard merchant ships on the deadly Murmansk Run, in the Mediterranean, in the volatile Pacific and on every sea on which the Allies fought - delivering the materiel of victory.

The motto “Deeds, Not Words” echoes through the Academy and in the hearts of our alumni, as we remember the sacrifices of our brother and sister mariners.

I have based my life upon this credo - and I have lived up to it in the Navy, the Merchant Marine and the CIA. In this, the latest leg of my personal voyage of service to my Nation, I will remain faithful to my personal motto.

Commander Scott Uehlinger, (USN Ret.)

Scott served as CIA Station Chief in Moldova, the President’s senior intelligence official in country, from 2008-2012, and was decorated by the Moldovan government for his intelligence work and his cultivation of bilateral diplomatic ties. It was in Moldova that Scott met and married his wife Veronica.

Scott, Veronica, and his stepdaughter Michaela settled in Topton, Pennsylvania upon their return to the United States.

Scott retired from the CIA in 2014 and was immediately in demand as a public speaker and national security expert. In the fall of 2015, Scott was asked to take an adjunct teaching post at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs specializing in intelligence operations and policies.

Scott frequently appears as an analyst and commentator on the Fox News Channel, Patriot XM, and Breitbart Radio discussing intelligence and national security issues. He is also the author of The Station Chief blog at newsmax.com .

Scott was a very early supporter of President Donald Trump. His entry into politics came in May, 2016 when he was elected by the voters of Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District to be a delegate for Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.

Scott is actively involved in youth mentoring programs and helping veterans obtain employment within the intelligence community. He has worked as a substitute teacher in the Brandywine, Oley, and Kutztown school districts.

Scott is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, the Association of Retired Intelligence Officers, and the Naval Institute.

Scott has again been called to serve, this time as the representative of the people of Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District. A citizen-politician, Scott will bring a lifetime of experience to Congress advocating daily for his constituents and all Americans. Scott will fight tirelessly to wrestle away the D.C. swamp dwellers’ grip on government and return it to where it belongs; under the control of the good people of Pennsylvania and the United States of America.
